Immaculate. Upscale. Waterfront. I would absolutely recommend this beauty. The appliances were top notch and like brand new. Even the dishes and utensils were very well stocked. Some airbnbs I've stayed in have the crustiest utensils and one fork, lol. Not here! The design aesthetic was top notch and the waterfront balcony and fire pit were so nice. "What a wonderful place! It is so inviting and the moment you step inside, you feel instantly relaxed. The renovations are very well done and the deck is a perfect place to sit in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee. I saw wildlife such as herons and whitetail deer every day, so I would recommend bringing a set of binoculars if you enjoy watching them. The driveway is narrow, with little room to turn a vehicle around, so read the Host's instructions and if you follow them, you'll be fine. I grabbed some take-out one evening from Ottos Tavern in Emlenton and it was amazing! Freedom Falls is a short trip away as well. This is our second time staying at one of Meghan and her husband’s properties and again, it left us absolutely speechless. Immediately when stepping outside onto the picturesque porch, my husband and I were greeted by a bald eagle soaring across the river. That’s when we knew our stay at this house was extra special. This is our sixth time over the last three years coming to Emlenton and we fall more in love with the area each time. This house is exquisite with the waterfront view of the Allegheny River seen throughout the home’s panoramic windows, hearing Mallards when you first wake up, and soaking in the soothing tub in your private master suite after a long hike. These are the bests hosts and we are grateful to have spent our 6th Wedding Anniversary in this stunning home. We can’t wait to come back and bring more family to the hidden gem of Emlenton. Meghan’s property is beautiful. The home is well thought out and well stocked for comfort and ease for a relaxing stay in nature . We saw so much wildlife on the river while siting on the deck. We saw a river otter, turtles, snakes, tons of native birds and even a baby bear swimming across the river which was unexpected and unforgettable! We had a wonderful time at Meghan and Matthew’s place. After a last minute problem at another vacation rental, Meghan responded to us quickly so that we could stay at her home. We were SO happy! Beautiful, clean interior with thoughtful touches. Peaceful (and swimable) river and a great deck made being outside a priority. :) Loved the long, out of the way road there.
